The following letter was sent to a PIP Representative by some very appreciative Eflare users.

Dear Mr. Parker,  

We would like to commend you on your product and how it literally saved our lives. My wife and I were on our way home from a seminar at 9:00pm on a Thursday evening. We were traveling in the carpool lane on a Southern California freeway and came upon a small hill on the freeway. At the top of the hill, out of nowhere, was a yellow kayak in the middle of our lane. It was either hit the car to the right of us, hit the center divider or run into the kayak. Unfortunately we hit the kayak & it incapacitated the car. After calling for help, we pulled out our Eflares (we keep 6 of the HZ-530 in the car) and were able to, rather dangerously, stop traffic. We put the flares at a diagonal in our lane while cars were traveling at approximately 70-75mph. Finally a California Highway Patrol officer came to help us but not without asking about the flares first!!

He asked us where we got them and we let them know that we purchased them through a supplier in California. The officer was so intrigued by them and told us how well he was able to spot us with them.  

We would like you to know how happy we are with them and that we will always keep them in our cars just for that reason.
